 POST- PRODUCTION

Now, that I have finished filming for my opening, I will be summarizing my thoughts for editing and what parts I would like to add special effects to.

First, while I'm looking up at the sign that says, "ID TURN BACK IF I WERE YOU" I would add some suspenseful music to create an uneasy tension in the atmosphere. I want to add suspenseful music because I believe it would create a sense of that something bads going to happen and would leave the audience believing that there will be a jump scare. I would also like to add suspenseful music to the part where I'm driving, and I make a stop to glare at the sign to also add tension and make it look like something is off with the sign. One of the other parts I want to add a suspenseful sound too is when she thinks something's in the bushes and she's glaring at it in scardom. After she sees that it was just a squirrel, I would want the music to slowly ease down.

Another type of editing factor I would like to include is the coloring/ lighting. I would want to have the lighting duller or more colorful for certain scenes. For example, for the scenes shot in the woods I would want to make it duller to make her look innocent and modest and has no control. I would like to add color to the scenes of her in the car to make it seem like she is in no risk now that she's in the car and has control of her surroundings. 

Some transitions I would like to include are slow dissolve to create a sense of dread as one scene slowly alters into the other. One I would like to include constantly is a whip pan to give it quick and blurry transitions to make ethe audience feel like something is happening fast which makes it more entertaining and eye catching.
